Community of Caring Sponsor-- Mrs. J. Brown
Hall-McCarter Middle School participate in
the national "Community of Caring" character education program sponsored
by the Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation. In Community of Caring schools,
teachers learn to incorporate discussion of five core values Caring, Respect,
Trust, Responsibility, Family into existing textbook materials, athletics
and every day school activities. The purpose of this program is to
create a caring and respectful school environment in which students begin
to understand the relationship between their values, their decisions, and
their actions.
